There is a tremendous difference between the presence of delusion - TopicsExpress

There is a tremendous difference between the presence of delusion and becoming delusional. The subjective activity of the mind itself cannot exist without a bundle of delusions - that is only natural. Unless you are absorbed in the timeless silence of nivrikalpa samadhi, it is necessary for the mind to project itself onto the reality, and it is through such projections that the mind can engage in any kind of expression in the world. You only become delusional once you begin clinging to such projections, that is where all the prejudices which distort clear perception are created. To allow things to surface and disappear without entanglement - this is the essence of a life of Buddhahood.
