There is a trend of late for South African youngsters to seek - TopicsExpress

There is a trend of late for South African youngsters to seek recruitment as teachers of English in oriental countries. Nothing wrong with the concept, we are all aware of the current work climate back here and since time immemorial the young bloods have felt the need to stretch their wings. The problem arises when unscrupulous labour brokers abuse their position of power over strangers in a strange land. I have one son currently working as an English teacher in Korea, and from day one his experience has been an absolute pleasure. My youngest son though retuned yesterday from China with a tale of woe, deceit and despair. The company Wan Jia language Services and in particular it’s CEO, one Emma, has no compunction in pursuit of the mighty dollar. Employees are not paid their contracted amount, passports are illegally held in order to ensure compliance, promised accommodation turns out to be somewhat less than “bare minimum”, the list goes on. I have no compunction in naming names, these are people that feel secure behind the bamboo curtain but maybe spreading the word about their nefarious objectives in the target countries of their fodder may put a brake on their profit taking? please feel free to contact me with any queries or requests for details. If it takes me the rest of my life, I AM going to bury these bastards!
