There is a way to push back against the Federal Mandates that tie the hands of school districts everywhere and that is to reject the Federal Program and the money. Federal monies comes with many strings attached and often does not include enough money to truly cover the cost of the program. Local school district nutrition services are smart enough to figure out how to provide healthy meals to all students.
