There is absolutely NEVER a valid excuse to dump an animal somewhere. It pissed all over your house? TOO BAD. You have no monetary or other means to take care of it? TOO BAD. You have too many pets? TOO BAD. Its not as cute or sweet as you had hoped itd grow to be? TOO BAD. You didnt plan on a litter of kittens? TOO BAD. As a pet owner and a supposed human being, it is YOUR duty to care for your pets, and if you dont want them, its your duty to ensure that they end up in capable hands. Even if theres a chance a pound could put them to sleep, its STILL a better alternative than dropping them off in the middle of nowhere - left to get hit by cars or eaten by wild animals. All of my current cats have been rescues, dumped out by my house by pieces of trash and so called humans. THERE IS NO EXCUSE. A kitten we just rescued last night seems to have been hit by a car before we were able to bring it home, and this all could have been avoided if people werent so selfish and pathetic. :C
