There is absolutely nothing untoward for politicians to have private business interests! They must only disclose their interest and, where necessary, recuse themselves from participating on matters that impact on their interests. The persistent discourse that (black) politicians are prone or predisposed to corruption is a calculated diversion from the real issue- that the economy of this country is still in the hands of a few (white) people. Everyone (politician, judge, public servant, including a journalist) has a right to participate actively in the economy of this country - we should just put in place mechanism to manage conflict of interests. I pray for prosperity, peace and patriotism for the citizens of this country! Amen
