There is an excellent article in Breitbart,What the GOP Could learn from Jim Webb .ly/1w7vBQ4 via @BreitbartNews which makes the case for the GOP to be more attuned to the concerns of middle class Americans than the elites. That is precisely the argument I make in my book BRINGING AMERICA HOME. We need to support policies that will grow the private sector, rebuild our manufacturing base and bring jobs home to America. These are key elements in an overall strategy to strengthen our middle class. (Strengthening the family is critical as well.) Among the reasons I am impressed with the message and actions of Sen. Jeff Sessions is that he understands the importance of trade, immigration, and tax policies to create jobs for Americans. Too many GOP politicians are in the pockets of what Sen. Sessions calls the Masters of the Universe elites when it comes to trade and immigration policies.
