There is an irony in that neither those who champion government - TopicsExpress

There is an irony in that neither those who champion government nor those who are critical of it within the narrow scope of the two major parties, can themselves actually govern. Governing involves compromise and chiefly pragmatism. Two things evidently not present in the abilities of the chief executive or the leaders in Congress. They are both clinging to absurd ideologies rooted in some moronic back and fourth about big versus small government. What we need is smart government and a better informed electorate that realizes that our greatest problems are ultimately solved by individuals working together. Not an omnipotent central government, religious zealots, or corporate robber barons.
