There is an unnecessary amount of speculation and finger pointing - TopicsExpress

There is an unnecessary amount of speculation and finger pointing going around at present with regard to the horrific Jules Bianchi crash that took place at Suzuka on Sunday. I understand that the video that most have seen shows double yellow flags being waved and then a green flag being waved. It is very important that we get all of the facts, the procedures in place for F1 races and those of the marshals before we point any fingers. Emotions are running very high but assuming things is being very unfair to everyone involved. Please be patient and concentrate your energy to thinking about Jules Bianchi in these very trying times. The FIA have instigated and investigation and will make their findings. As I have mentioned, sometimes through tragedy it is how we learn. Lest we not forget all the safety ideas that have been implemented yearly to try and ensure that we dont have horrific crashes. Motorsport is a very dangerous occupation and at ties we get very complacent about how it works. These drivers, teams and officials know this and do try and make racing as safe as possible. Perhaps it is time to implement a SC intervention every time a car is off the circuit and is stranded. The SC procedure might have to be re-looked at but it is a possible solution. Lets keep Jules in our thoughts and hope he pulls through.
