There is another point of concern that I have not mentioned on here ( I have on 88.1) that reintroducing salmon into an ecosystem that has none nor had any in a long time and have become prime grounds for introduced pathogens and parasites that never evolved here is VERY risky business. There is tons of literature out there....look up frankenfish.... the point being is that it only takes one reintroduced fish with a disease that the resident fish have no ability to fight off. There goes the wild trout population, It happens all the time. Its not a matter of just plopping down some salmon and say grow. There is alot more to it. I havent said something because I was hoping someone would catch this besides me. there are so many holes in this whole fiasco its definitely not funny. I worked to reintroduce fish in many places. Where it was feasible. the Sprague river valley is not feasable, Way too many cows. There is a reason why there are so many salmon and no cows in SE Alaska, Soon as the cows show up up there say good by to the salmon
