There is conscious attention to the task at hand but not to the details of the movement required to carry out that task . All you need is a purposeful intent so as to cause an effect or prevent one and most importantly to realize failure and to persist . In that it is this purposeful intent and realization of falure etc that organizes those joint angular changes in alignment , sequence ,rate and timing upon which a skill and its correction are determined .Like kids throwing , catching , striking or evading a ball we learn by doing and not being told what to do ...
