There is currently a fire at the Marietta Industrial Enterprises Building at 17805 SR 7 South. The fire is contained to the West Side of SR 7 and is not a threat to the waterway or to those on the river banks at the Marietta River Roar. The smoke plume in the area may cause difficulty breathing for nearby residents due to the abundance, but is not known to contain chemicals of any type. A Rapid Notify Message was sent to nearby residents advising them of this situation, a call back to 740-376-7070 is not necessary. Some residents outside of this area also received this message in error. At this time a portion of SR 7 has been closed.
