There is freedom of association enshrined in our constitution and any one can cross as many carpets as they want. However, the allegations of complicity, funding and collaboration of the political class especially in that Borno State, with the direct connection of Sheriff to the political thugs now turned Islamic insurgents, should not be overlooked, wished away, ignored, forgiven or sacrificed on the altar of political realignment. All those facing charges of terrorist activities be they Senators, House of Reps members or politically exposed persons under whatever guise, that have supported, overtly or covertly, the loss of lives and property through killings, bombings and insurgency should face the law and their cases duly prosecuted, whether they are in APC, PDP, APGA or wherever. The bloodshed is so much and it cant be wished away by political manoeuvres no matter how deft.
