There is no anxiety in the divine life and the divine nature. Anxiety is not of the divine life, but of the human life, just as barking is of the dog life, not of the bird life. Our human life is a life of anxiety, whereas Gods life is a life of enjoyment, rest, comfort, and satisfaction .. Take anxiety away from a human being and the result will be death. A dead man has no anxiety. A figure in a wax museum or a statue in front of a Catholic cathedral has no anxiety, but as long as you are a living person, you cannot escape from anxiety. [ Mark 4:7 ]- The thorns here signify the anxiety of the age and the deceitfulness of riches, which CHOKE the word from growing in the heart and cause it to become unfruitful... Several times in.. [Matthew 6:19-34], the words anxious or anxiety are used. The Lord tells us not to be anxious about our living, about what we shall eat, drink, or wear. The 3rd type of soil is not as bad as the 2nd, but it is still difficult for the seed to grow in it because of anxiety and the deceitfulness of riches. All these thorns must be uprooted. If the anxiety of this age and the deceitfulness of riches are rooted out of our heart, the seed will grow... In other words, the church cannot grow in those type of soil.
