There is no escape from being vulnerable. If I think of being invulnerable, untouched by pain, by harm, by influence, what would I look like? A person who is totally invulnerable is a person who does not change, who does not let anything effect them. Have we ever met a person like that? I relate this to the Madyamika logic of emptiness. Specifically the logic of interdependent origination, the Prajnaparamita sutra of emptiness. In essence, you cannot be an invulnerable person and still be connected; where there is connection, there is a dynamic; there is a relationship. And relationships change both parties. - Dungse Jampal Namgyel, from todays LINK
