There is no law against self-criticism. Actually, there probably ought to be! All those politicians who hang around the halls of power looking for new ways to restrict other peoples freedoms might do us a favour if they were only to pass some legislation on this topic. Just imagine if you could be fined for telling yourself off or jailed for having no self-esteem. We would all soon have to buck our ideas up pretty sharp then!
