There is no one quite like my mom...and I know that there are many who will agree. She has a special kind of light inside of her that beams brighter than most people. She has the ability to see the best in others, and she gets excited over the littlest things. I love that she makes everyone around her feel at home and welcome. She says darlin to a stranger, and she can make friends at the grocery store. She knows more trivia than a historian, especially about the movies. She loves to sing and act silly. Elvis and her go way back, and she has George Clooney on speed dial ;) She has a beautiful smile, and she can dance! When life hands her lemons, she makes lemonade. I love that she gave up diet coke and splenda. Shes a really good back tickler. She taught me empathy, gratitude, and not to sweat the small stuff. I love that I can call her for anything at ANY hour, and she will be there for me...as long as her cell phone is charged ;) I am so grateful that she changed her whole world for me when I had my own baby, and moved to be close to us... Mom, I cant and DO NOT want to imagine this journey without you being a 1/2 mile away! There is no greater gift than watching Violet with her Grannykins. Its like being your little girl again, only better. YOU are the reason I am the mother you say you are so proud of. I love you mama...more than a pig loves slop, more than anything...I love you, I love you, I love you!
