There is no question in my mind that Belizes political milieu is poised for change. Now the manner of change I advocate extends far beyond the run-of-the-mill exchanging one half of the PUDP for the other. I am talking about substantive, revolutionary change. The type of change that will see both sides of the PUDP non-divide, being held accountable for their numerous transgressions that have resulted in the piss-poor state of governance in which Belize finds itself. I am referring to a complete paradigm shift among the electorate, in which they reject the PUDP on the basis of discontinuing the practise of doing the same thing and expecting different results. Of course this will necessitate a considerable amount of things...of which a viable alternative ranks among the most significant. There are several disparate groups which are not-aligned with the PUDP and I welcome that with open arms. Yet, as most can attest, UNITY is what is required. This conversation has been tossed around for quite some time. It has evolved into an ongoing dialogue, which certainly is a step in the right direction. I would hope that among those who have expressed a desire to lead the this new Belizean Revolution there is consensus that the PUPD is incapable of providing the required leadership. For me its significant to note this because at times, despite the appearance of wanting the same thing, inevitably due to the individual motivations among us, there may very well be considerable variance in terms of what precisely are our specific goals. With that said, I extend to all concerned that in selecting those who shall lead, we heed the glorious words of Sister Judy Mowatt, in which she cautioned...Many are called, few are chosen. Just some food for thought, as we chart the course forward toward a better Belize for one and all. lipstickalley/showthread.php?t=425932
