There is no question of an alliance with the Congress: K Chandrashekar Rao STATE NEWS 24 MARCH 2014 : TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao categorically said on Sunday that the doors were closed on the Congress, even as AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh maintained his party was still open for an alliance with the former. “There is no question of an alliance with the Congress. It is a closed chapter,” the TRS chief said at a press conference held in his party office in the city. “However, we are in talks with the CPI and the seat-sharing formula would be finalized in a couple of days.” KCR’s assertion came on the back of Digvijay Singh’s statement in Delhi that the option of alliance was not yet closed. Responding to a query, KCR made it clear that he would contest for the state assembly from Gajwel, while he was considering running for the Lok Sabha as well. “Gajwel is the assembly segment from where I would contest.
