There is no real spatial component to my brains representation of the room at all, much like there is no real spatail component to the representation Yet this unreal spatial component is the only thing that anyone has ever known to be space. Indeed, you will never experience any other kind of reality, any other kind of room, etc. Kastrup is pointing out the hypocrisy of this. The model which puts us in an imaginary Room that still somehow contains a non-imaginary skull is a simple failure of logic. If we take it seriously that our imaginary room is literally within our brain, even if it is more compact and thusly much more abstract* can only mean that what we are looking at in the iRoom is in reality surrounded by the inside of brain tissue and skull beyond our perception. *being compact has nothing to do with being abstract. It doesnt matter if your view of the room is blasted into a billion tiny pieces across five billion dendrites, it is still concretely located within your brain and therefore must be concretely surrounded, eventually, by your skull.
