There is no such thing as a typical Monday. However, on this day my bride, who carpools to Ithaca, has her friend call me to tell me her Subaru is running rough and the check engine light came on. They are on their. Way back to get the other gals car. Ok no big deal as I help them move briefcases and lunches and groceries (other gal teaches culinary arts) from one car to the other at 6:20 am. Then I decide to take the Subbie to work so I can determine if we need to see Kevin at Kevs Car Care. I allowed it to warm up and moved my work stuff into her car. Drove to work at up to 70mph on rt 86 in third gear(stick) and near redlined it with no problems. Ok no problems with the car, but I got to work 10 minutes early and realized I left my shop keys in my car. So I turn around and go get them and get to work late. Remember Im the boss so my guys had fun with that one! My coffee container in my lunch bag (soft cooler style) decided to leak all over my desk. I wonder whats next.
