There is no worse feeling as the feelin of not bein in control) Lastnight was very interesting. .....well I shouldnt really say interesting as it was........yall ever have yer butthole gasp for air then choke on the seat cover? Mine did lastnight in West Yellowstone or the Park as its commonly refered too by those who run it. Why is it that when I spin out that I just dont stop like everyone else? Why do I almost always end up slidin backwards for what seems like an eternity? When the truck finally stopped its reverse death slide (thank God for that one little spot of powder!!!) I set the brakes, climbed down and as soon as my feet touched the ice they were up in the air an my ass was on the ground and I was sliding down the road. I eventually came to rest up against the trailer tandems. When righted myself an got back to the cab, I smoked a cigarette an drank a cup of coffee all the while my truck was almost takin up the whole road.... almost, there was enough room for the park rangers an 4wheelers to get by. Deciding that it was too slick to put on my jewelry in my current situation, I decided to try an ease the truck to the shoulder an maybe straighten up abit..... That was my plan...... after several tries with several butthole gasping moments (slidin backards an sideways) I finally made it to the shoulder where I was able to regain that hundred feet of lost ground, but was unable to get to the top an keep goin barefoot. Had to put my jewelry on (tire chains for yall who are wonderin), which was another ordeal as it would seem that after I had a set of singles draped over the tires and rolled back over em......they were too damn small!!!!!!!! !!!!!!. Pulled em off an rolled back smore an went back to the sidebox an got another set. This was kind of a long process as the left side of the truck was still on ice...the rightside was sweet! After slippin an slidin I got the other set hung and hooked (thank God they fit!) They looked good on there, looked like a fat lady ina bikini....Nice! After that it was fairly uneventful. The moral of this story and it is all true, is that when stuck in a bad situation dont lose your head, dont give up, and always keep your safety and the safety of others in mind. Do all that you can to get out of the situation safely. If you dont know how to hang iron learn NOW in a nice dry place, cause sometime youre goin to get caught in a situation where youre goin to need to know how.
