There is nothing better than one of our precious satos being - TopicsExpress

There is nothing better than one of our precious satos being adopted with one exception. We are thrilled to announce that two of our sibling pups have been adopted together by the most loving, kind family. Doralee had given birth to 5 healthy pups. Three of the pups have been adopted and Doralina and Guy were still available for adoption. They were being fostered by our amazing foster mom Andrea. She was the best foster mom and had hoped they would be adopted together although she knew it was not likely. Here dreams were about to come true :). We received an adoption application from a wonderful family in Pennsylvania. After speaking with Kelly we knew her and her family were very warm, dog loving people. They had recently lost their rescue dog Arlene and were now ready for a new furry family member. They travelled from Pennsylvania to Long Island to meet Doralina and knew that Guy was being fostered by Andrea as well. We had a feeling they would not leave with only Doralina and we were right :)). Andrea loved Kelly and her family as soon as she met them and the pups felt the same way. This is what Doralina/now Sadie and Guy/now Tuckers mom had to say about the experience of adopting the pups I found a rescue group called The Sato Project that rescues dogs in Puerto Rico from a place called Dead Dog Beach. A pregnant pup was rescued and had 5 puppies. This baby girl captured my heart and when we went to pick her up on Saturday in Long Island we met her spunky brother and could not separate them. They truly are bonded. So now our adventure begins. Please meet our new babies, 4 1/2 month old Sadie and her brother, Tucker This was Kellys update yesterday Everything is going really well. The pups have adjusted so easily...because they are together...and are even sleeping on my 10 year olds lap. Sadie hates the rain(cant blame her) but training is going well. It was funny to watch them try to get up the steps for the first time last night. Apparently that was new:). We are thrilled with them. Thank you Kelly, Brooks and their two wonderful children for opening your hearts and home to Sadie and Tucker.
