There is nothing greater than a collective will to transform our Kwara to a glorious state. That’s why I appreciate the several mail and support that I have received from you in the course of laying a better path to a brighter future. Many have sent mail, many have posted on my wall and many still have spoken kind words. Thank you. Thank you. God bless you all. Even without asking, many have volunteered in one way or the other. I have received several mail on volunteering - from volunteering time, sharing ideas and suggestions to designing campaign posters and handbills. In 2011, one of my Facebook friend designed a poster that was used. So an idea came to mind - why not throw open a design competition for campaign posters and handbills, with the best entry and two runners-up winning prizes. It is important that my intention is not misconstrued. What is my intention, I hear you ask. Good. My intention in adopting this strategy isn’t just for the fun of interacting but more importantly, to encourage creativity of my Facebook friends, hoping that in our little exchange here some dreams might come alive. I believe that someone, somewhere amongst us all, who is reading this, has the creativity that just needs to see a brighter reality; and I humbly wish and pray to be the vessel to birth these dreams. In my own little way, I would support the winners with tools needed to move to the next level, by paving way for such fellows to find their own joy both in their creativity and in their careers.
