There is nothing happening in Juba. There rumor that is going on is a propaganda created by those who want to cause panic in Juba. The rumor that Clement Wani Konga survived assassination was created by Samuel Dong in Nairobi on his twitter.. The same thing he twitted that Kuol Manyang want to resign because they had issues with Malong. I think this is a failed strategy. However, the biggest issue now in Juba is the issue of federalism. There are forces that are misleading the People of Equatoria to rise up and agitate for federalism to shift the attention from focusing on peace process. Is this the right time to discuss federalism when the country is at war? Lest stop the war first and latter we can debate which system of the government we need because in the end, the will of the people must prevail. I believe this tension and sudden calls for federal system by Equatiorians is a strategy of Riek Machar to create another front of war that will claim more lives of innocent people. Let’s learn from our mistakes.
