There is nothing more satisfying then teaching your kids a good lesson. Tonight Trevor dared Sophie to call 911. She accepted the challenge, made the call and hung up as soon as the 911 operator answered. Imagine my surprise when they called back and I answered the phone and had to explain there was currently no emergency, but there was going to be one when I got ahold of my 7 year old twins. She laughed and said she still had dispatch an officer, I told I would be waiting and that I couldnt wait to teach them a lesson. I didnt mention the call to either of them. When the police officer showed up at the door, I made them answer and explain what they had done. Trevor sang like a canary to the office and said his sister called, he just forgot to mention he put her up to it. The officer played along and gave them both a good lecture about making false calls for help. The look on their faces was priceless. I dont think they will be calling 911 anytime soon.
