There is nothing that can compare to the kindness of strangers. I was in a hard situation once when I came home from work one day to find my puppy at the time had somehow mysteriously busted the ball joint of her hip. after exauhsting every option and asking for help from all the animal agencies out there, I was told get her leg fixed or put her to sleep. I went to the news because as much as animal people who run shelters and facilities and things like that say do the right thing, they shoot you down when you ask for help. the community came together for me and got my baby Josephine the $1500 surgery she needed and saved her young life. I was so thankful, and grateful, and ill never forget what the kindness of strangers means to me. its stories of families like this one that restore my faith in humanity. there ARE good people out there. the world isnt always a bad place.
