There is nothing wrong with Buddhism or Hinduism or Islam regarding women .The real threat to women comes from the western establishment and western thought that seeks to destroy the family which is the haven of women and seeks to unsettle societies and to assault countries and wage war and kill people including women and children . How can criminals seek the betterment of women ? Societies need primarily security before anything else . This is the basic demand of men , women and children . Where is security in places like Iraq and Syria and Palestine ? Where is security in Pakistan and Afghanistan? What are women to enjoy when they are threatened by the armed thugs of the CIA in Syria, or by drone attacks in Yemen, or Terrorist attacks in Iraq? ?Who cares about women ? Obama or Ban Ki Moon or Netenyahu ? Women are fine . Leave women alone ; whether Hindu , Buddhist , Muslim or Christian , an eastern woman is better off weren’t it for poverty and insecurity caused by the world order .
