There is one fact I share with the whole of the human race That someday I will return to see Gods face. Every one knows that one day they will die But no one can tell when or how theyll heave that last sigh. From dust we come, and to dust well return. For some, the thought carries with it a vague fear For some, its a cross theyve accepted to bear. There are some who refuse to accept it till their last day. In some lives, it has no say, And others to avoid it, their last Naira will pay. Some live in every moment so as not to waste life But some still for the fear of the end, forego life. How temporal life is when you think about it. What is ninety years in the great scheme of things, Or hundred in eternity? At the end of it all, Whether we accept the inevitable end or not; Is not the main goal, To live happy, To die free, And rejoin with our maker? At least thats my main goal.
