There is s guy at work that is, let me say, a Tad slow (Im a sushi chef btw). It really bugs. It really bugged another worker so much they got in an altercation. I got in an altercation with the last guy (little napoleon) who I worked with who was incompetent. Song says: I wanna stand up, I wanna let go You know, you know, no, you dont, you dont I wanna shine on in the hearts of men I wanna mean it from the back of my broken hand. Yeah, I almost hit that guy. I had to pull myself off the floor and go home for a mental health day. The way my HP works is I always get a second chance to work something out, and here this is today with this guy who is a tad slow. I drop to my proverbial knees and sought solution. Song says: Help me out, yeah You know you gotta help me out, yeah Oh, dont you put me on the back burner You know you gotta help me out, yeah And when theres nowhere else to run I take opportunity for solution. The Tad slow dude refuses to work with this other guy so he works all of my shifts. Lucky me. I get another chance to do better. I decided that the best thing I could do was show him how to be faster, show him some of my techniques and tricks and transform him gently, compassionately. Willingly. Last night I tried that and he responded real well to it. I discovered he is slow with the other guy, I suspect, because he does not like the other guy. The tad slow guy is an older fellow unlike all the other kids who work there who are UCI students. I feel for this guy. He was an areospace engineer Ive heard and you know what happened to lots of them. This tad slow guy ended up at Gatten. I am so lucky that the spirit that moves within all of us chose to give me another chance to do something. I am blessed that solution came to me. Putting down the club and picking up the feather! Jest thought Id share my good fortune. By the way, at Gatten Sushi, we dont got sole, and I am a GREAT solider!
