There is something rotten in the State of Denmark. … any RCMP investigation that might raise national media interest must be approved and directed ultimately by Harpers Minister. This allows Harper to insidiously direct political interference in the Senate Scandal or any other related questionable activities by the Reform dominated Conservatives brought to light by the media involving: Expense or Election Fraud or Breach of Trust or any other alledged crimes presently being committed by Harper, his Senators, or the PMO. Canada is famous for its excellent national police force, and we need them arms-length to safeguard our democracy. Co-opting the Mounties as this Star story reveals is a sure sign of fascism is reeking from the PMO. I hope those Mounties who dont like what they are seeing will leak more on this to the public somehow. Mounties are Canadians too.
