There is something seriously wrong where someone living in Australia will see all the championship games on free to air TV and in the GAAs most important market, Ireland, we cant. I dont hold the arguement that its promoting the games abroad. It makes more sence to promote hurling in Monaghan than hurling in Freemantle or football in Kilkenny compared to football in Noosa. God only knows whats in store in three years time. The clubs need to voice their opinions at congress 2015. Is it pay for play and not pay for play. This is only the start of it. This is a bigger decision than opening Croke Park to rugby and soccer and yet the clubs had no say.
