As a director and an accountant for the board, you have failed the accountability test, mid-wifed the largest slump in tea earnings for our farmers and disappeared to Thika. You have allowed the corrupt chairman, Benerd Kirujah (Mugabe) to use you in his schemes to defraud farmers; For Example the Mpenje HEP project where Mugabe bought the land from a credulous farmer for ksh 450,000 and sold to Kionyo Tea Factory at an extortionate Ksh.4 Million with your authorization. Today you announced an obnoxious bonus of ksh.22/kg for kionyo and 26.50 for Imenti Tea Factories. Consequently, as the leaders of KUSSTO, we announce a countrywide tea farmers STRIKE to commence on 2nd September 2014. We will show NO MERCY to anyone caught picking tea from the said date. Any lorry that leaves the Factory parking lot from Tuesday next week will be repossessed by farmers. KUSSTO (Kenya Union of Small Scale Tea Owners) Youth wing will visit all the directors’ homes to ‘AUDIT’ their wealth. You have been hanging together as directors but come Tuesday, we will hang you separately.
