There is this raw Measurement of Intelligence which is probably valid of some cognitive/mental potential, but not at necessarily predicative of how well a person will manage his life and not the least his life together-and for the benefit of- with others. There are so many obstacles on the way of releasing this potential capacity as to benefit others as well as oneself, like being escapist, suffering of mental disturbances, of flaw of character, lack of passion, of focus, determination and oversight. In our time, with so much available information, people have hard time converting it to life affirming knowledge and wisdom, which is the noblest fruit of having a potential for thinking. There are lots of dumb people in our World, but the irony of modern life is that those capable of being wiser, act very often dumb because they lack all the other named attributes.
