There is this “resigned attitude” in most people that science and technology as the world know them today is an exclusive heritage and contribution to the world by Europe or the European race. Hence many people refer to them as “western” know-how. Even what is called “formal” education today is depicted as western styled education. This in my view is wrong and misleading. It is well known that the industrial revolution in our “modern age” started from Europe. However, the ingredients, the formulas, the physical laws, the knowledge which made this possible have the inputs of some “older and more diverse” civilizations. Most of the profound laws of physics, chemistry, biology, geometry, architecture and mathematics were for centuries the “exclusive” preserve of a minority of initiates of the mystery schools. Gradually, some of these laws were openly corroborated/proven to the public and they became public knowledge. So, many thought they were new revelations. The Truth is that there is nothing new under the sun! Much as till date, very few people have access to the scattered bits and pieces of the last great civilization on earth, the Atlantis civilization. This great civilization bequeathed much to the present race of men, most of their accomplishments in sciences and technologies have Not being attained in the present. This great civilization whose land was “obliterated” about 10,000 years ago bequeathed much to the land of khem (ancient Egypt), the Orient (Vedic culture) and the Mayan civilization. These in turn had a spillover effect on the rest of the world, giving rise to the Greek civilization, the Arabian civilization, the Phoenicians, the Tibetan, Chinese civilizations and influence. These in turn started feeding others smaller regions and peoples of the world within their sphere of influence. Discussions by earnest and pondering minds led “group of initiates” to apply the great principles and laws bequeathed to the modern race in undertaking certain experiments and tests towards realizing a higher truth. These were Not the priests or the religious leaders but an “obscure” group of men and women dedicated to studying and understanding the higher knowledge and mysteries. It is here that the ground rules for our present day inventions and discoveries were established. Thousands of years ago, surgery and advanced medicine were conducted in khem (Egypt). The Pythagoras theorem was known in the Egyptian, Mayan and Oriental mystery schools thousands of years before Pythagoras was exposed to it as a student/initiate of the Egyptian school. The laws of mechanics, the dispersion of white light to its seven constituent colors, the laws of gravity, electro-magnetism, quantum physics, chemical and physical properties of the elements and knowledge of the elements even yet to be discovered and revealed in open. Mendeleyev, the Russian chemist was able to come up with the periodic table of chemicals and a careful scrutiny will show that he left “gaps” for elements that are yet to be discovered, the table will even give you an idea of how many elements will ultimately be discovered on earth There is much knowledge still concealed to the public which has always and is still shrouded in the mysteries. These were knowledge widely known within the circle of initiates thousands of years ago. So, science and technology as far as the basic foundational laws and principles upon which they will always rest are not the heritage or exclusive preserve of any continent or race. Much as historical writings points to certain individuals as the inventor or discoverer of this or that, the underlying principles and laws which aided such discoveries were already around for centuries and even millennia. All the classical Greek thinkers and philosophers, Socrates, Aristotle, Thales, Plato, Plotinus, Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Salon, etc were all initiates of the mystery schools of Khem (ancient Egypt). Long before any form of formal educational system in Europe, certain parts of the world have instituted different systems of formal education, building libraries, schools, universities even before the first schools were built in Europe. Such were to be found in Khem, Arabian Peninsula, China, Tibet, India and even Maya in South America. The library of Alexandria was a melting point for seekers of knowledge coming from all parts of the world to sip from its fount of knowledge. The cars, televisions, radios, telecommunications, aero planes, computers, machines, electricity, medicines and all other scientific know-how of today and even tomorrow are built upon a common heritage of man with its roots in the great Atlantis civilization!!!
