There is this silly thing Buharists say that those of us rooting for Mr. Presidents reelection should say Amen to God ruling our lives the way GEJ runs Nigeria. It is silly because God is Supreme and He is not the One that imitates man but let me indulge their silliness this afternoon by asking that perhaps their lives should go the way Buharis regime went and because some of them were too young to know how Buhari ruled and are too lazy to do basic research but they are too dogmatic theyll just foolishly say Amen without knowing the meaning of the prayer, I will point out the implication of this with just three keypoints: 1. Pa Buhari used retroactive laws to kill three young Nigerians. In other words, if God runs your life like Pa Buharis regime, He will punish you by death for all the sins you have committed in the past, even before the law came into effect. 2. Pa Buhari allowed 53 suitcases containing foreign currency into the country but jailed Fela for possessing foreign currency when the maestro was travelling out. This means that God should punish you with imprisonment for a sin like lying while permitting even those engaging in murder. 3. Beko Ransome-Kuti was jailed for demanding Felas release under Pa Buharis regime - may God punish anyone who prays for you to be released from the imprisonment I mentioned in point two. I can go on and on but I do not want to bore you - please tell our people shun foolishness and embrace wisdom by campaigning for their candidate (no matter how misguided) with dignity and not harass anyone for supporting President Jonathan. God does not rule like man - He is perfect in wisdom but if any APC fellow can say Amen to the three prayer points a put here: shout it loud. (They lack creativity anyway watch them come here trying to twist this little wordplay I came up with.
