There isnt too much that separates dumb people, people that do dumb things, and mistakes that seemingly normal people do that is perceived as dumb. One is inherent, one maturity/naivety/ignorance, and one is a matter of perspective, in respective order. We call someone stupid without thinking the steps to achieve that title. Is it something they said? Actions? Thought process? Lack of knowledge? All of the above? So we now classify these people into a hierarchy obviously below our level and assume theyre doomed to stay within those ranks forever. But the question is do they deserve that title coming from you? Or even me for that matter. People post things here to the tune of I cant stand stupid people blah blah blah.... Well, has it ever occurred to you that to someone, if not many, that YOU are that stupid person they are talking about? I know we all have that one friend or person we know that complains about someone elses antics when that very person themselves have displayed or have done questionable things as well. Thats where the matter of perspective plays a role. But that also needs to raise ones awareness to themselves. So before you call someones else dumb, stupid, or an idiot (chose whatever derogatory adjective you can think of) think of YOUR actions and where you place on the hierarchy of the human existence. Small example; dont ridicule someone for whatever job they have if you dont even work or chose not to work.
