There it stood a green and yellow steel monster with its four - TopicsExpress

There it stood a green and yellow steel monster with its four wheels. Two large wheels in the back and two small wheels in the front, which held the monster high, off the ground. Its family’s crest shown proudly on its steel breast plate, the crest reveled that this monster was from the house of John the Deer. The breast plate covered the massive cast steel heart. The heart roared with anger and blew thick black smoke from its nostrils. On its right it wheeled a heavy arm which the monster’s master operated high atop the beast in his cage. The arm held a punched steel bowl shaped shield that had to be inch thick. Inside that bowl laid a spinning blade of the finest harden steel. The blade in all its power could and did cut through six inches of the hard wood and I would be no match for monster of steel. Its master moved the monster backward as he wheeled the arm into the growth that grew along the path. The blade tore, ripped, cut, slashed and shaved the growth into the thinnest pieces. A trail of broken and tore plant life lay before eyes. Their leafs scattered on the path, stems broken and tore, shaves of what growth use to be lay there in front of me. A pain grew within my chest anger too. The pain grew and grew, my knees became weak. They could not hold the weight of my body anymore. I fell to my knees and my hand covered my face. The pain grew to tear that ran delicately down the curves of my face. My hand beat the path till they, themselves turned red and ached with pain. The steel monster had slain my friends the growth of the path. I remembered how they looked in early spring. New growth that grew and flowers did too. By summer their leafs had turn to deep color green. More flowers they did arrive in the late month of July. Without a drop of rain they still survived but their life almost faded by. I was hoping to see the growth change its color to the orange, red and yeller. Just before the growth went to bed for the winter. The days have gone by in twos and threes and yet I still cry. My friends the growth are gone from my path by yet they still life deep inside my heart and mind. The picture they left inside my mind will forever live there till I take my last breath.
