We live in quite a rural area of Pontypool, you cant see our house from the main road but there are horses in the field next to the road and our house is next to the field. This afternoon, a man in a black Kia pulled up putside the house and beeped his horn (I am disabled and couldnt get to the door very quickly) my father had been out and came back and approached the man, he told my father his name was tony jones and that he was collecting for injured soldiers and that he was only in the area for a few days. He didnt have a local accent and I thought it was strange that he didnt get out of the vehicle. We are on a smallholding and I think he was just casing the joint as we have a horsebox and other farm machinery. I took the reg number and rang 101 and informed the police who also thought it strange.
