There needs to be a summit or conference on relations between Africans and African-Americans. Almost got into it again with a brother from the continent. The tone that he spoke, the way he looked at me , just because I was an American, was full of hate, disgust, discontent, and almost a look of shame. He asked me what part of the US I was from, I replied, It dont matter, my name is Kevin Choice, Im from planet earth, Im a human being an individual with a unique and different experience from anyone where Im from, so dont try to judge me or group me based on regional association, BUT I represent, Oakland, California. That only made it worse, since I guess California has an even worse reputation than being from anywhere else in the US. These cats need to stop getting all there views on us from watching TV and listening to rap, and watching sports. Its a damn shame. They embrace our culture, but hate us for it at the same damn time.
