There once was a young woman, so beautiful, so pale. She would walk from school everyday down a path that had been overgrown with weeds, grass, saplings, and other plants surrounding the place. One day while she was on her way back home, she saw something out of the corner of her eye. It was dark and standing still as if it had always been there. She went off the path to go see what it was. There it was, a statue of a weeping angel. She knew it hadn’t been there before so she took a good look at it, and thought nothing of it. She then turned away to get back to the path, but stopped to look back at the statue. It had gotten closer to her. She didn’t think much of it and got back on the path, then she saw another one a little ways up ahead. She thought about it and thought about it. she glanced back and behind her on the path was the first weeping angel. At this point she knew something wasn’t right. She turned back and continued walking her normal path, until she saw another one. She looked back at the path, and behind her were both of the angels from before. She turned back to look at the third angel, then back at the previous two. They had gotten closer. She blinked. Closer. Blink. Closer. She started to panic a little. She started running a ways, but twisted her ankle on the way, causing her to fall to the ground. she looked back and they were closer than they have been previously, this time with one of their arms each, reaching out to her. She blinked for a split second, and their faces had changed from one that looked of a beautiful woman to that of a monster. Mouths open with sharp, pointed teath, and big eyes to show their fury. She was absolutely terrified now. She started scrambling around on the ground trying to get away from them. The girl, since then, has never been seen again. Legend has it that she became a weeping angel herself and was forced to guard the path from that day forward.
