There seems to be a lack of serious and trustworthy sources of information and teaching when it comes to strength and conditioning in Australia specifically for the purposes of strength training. Whether it relates to strength sports or other sports. There are a couple of organisations who pass on and teach good info but for the most part comparitive to countries, like the US, Australia has some work to do. As such Adonis Athletics is in the process of putting together a solid strength and conditioning course which personal trainers and all other fitness professionals registered with FItness Australia will be able to attend and receive CEC points. This will be massive and it will be revolutionary. It will be for you if you are a personal trainer/coach looking to expand your knowledge base, a strength enthusiast, an athlete who needs even an ounce of strength and power to do better on your field and so on. At the moment some points to be covered in these courses will be things like - the fundamentals of strength training - the energy systems - hypertrophys role in strength production - the CNS role in strength production - training schemes - how to write programs - volume and intensity and how to manipulate them - rep ranges - no bullshit guide to nutrition - and much more What we want to know from you strength athletes, coaches and personal trainers out there is what further topics would you like to see in there answered once and for all? What burning question or topic would you like to see covered in a course like this? Would love to hear everyones response. Hopefully with your help together we can make a change for the better in the industry and raise the standard some more. Because the Australian health and fitness industry and the strength and conditioning scene need it.
