There seems to be little or no knowledge with regards to the unconnected letters brought forth in the Holy Quran, for this great book holds treasures known and also unknown to man. The Quran has 29 chapters beginning with these unconnected letters (Huroof Al Muqattaat) some starting with 1 some 2 some 3 some 4 and some 5. There are many opinions within Islamic thought on these letters and as to what they mean/what they are present for/why has Allah (swt) placed them within those certain verses and for what reason, amongst the many reasons including, getting the Arabs attention as they used to make noise on the hearing of it in order to abstain from its teachings, relating to those who (supposedly) wrote the Holy Quran, relating to Karbala, relating to the greatest creation of Allah (swt) Mohammad (saww) or whether it be relating to the letters within which when are combined relate to the most important word within that chapter, we see that when the letters are all joined there is only one sentence that can be made with these letters and that is: Sirarto 3aliyen Haqon Nomsiko (the path of Ali is what we hold onto). The Holy Quran if it were a friend and a companion it would be the best friend the most loyal the most trustworthy the best of the best, it is a book of ease and cannot be compared to therefore cherish it as though it is a human (friend) to which you would never abandon and hold firmly onto what it teaches you for it is a companion which will defend you like no other on a day which is like no other in a time which will have you waiting thousands of years..
