There seems to be some confusion around the place regarding the NPL-WA finals series this season. The team that finishes top of the league this year will qualify for the NPL interstate series, and will receive a winners plate. However, the Grand Final winner will go down as NPL-WA Champions and receive the NPL-WA Trophy this year. For the first time, as the rules state, the finals will also decide the championship for the Reserves (Under 20s) and Under 18s, plus all NPL juniors. This is likely to change next season, with the NPL-WA trophy going to the team that finishes top, with the finals in 2015 having no bearing on who are champions.
