There she was...sitting on the freshly cut green grass...overlooking the skyline of New York City. I saw as she bent her knees towards her....resting her arms ever so gently on her knees. As if struck with a type of shock that was just too intense to describe...she stared straight at the clear sky that covered the skyline like a blue blanket. As I continued my gaze in her direction...her eyes stayed glued straight...and within seconds...I saw a cloud of tears form in her eyes...and slowly...a tear rolled down her soft cheek. Yet...something was different....as that tear came close to hitting her soft pink lips...a smile formed...and I knew just then...that tear...that smile...that frozen stare into the sky...were a result of her life being turned into this positive wave of love, success and confidence. When youve lost all hope..and suddenly...your life makes a complete turn for the better...you too will greet your tear one day....but this time...youll greet it with a smile...just like this girl did...when she realized that happiness was finally at her doorstep...and all she had to do..was keep having faith...and never give up. - Rakhi Like / Share
