There shouldnt be much value in aesthetic beauty and yet its what we seem to value most. That makes for a shitty set of priorities in which real efforts to make the world a better place (the only thing of actual value) get devalued, superseded, or goes wholly unrecognized. All while making people feel really shitty about themselves over otherwise meaningless stuff. This thought has been the premise for a number of major life decisions for me. And to this day its while I hesitate to make comments (especially any denoting real worth) on physical beauty. I dont want to give my support to such a value system.
