There was a Muslim community in one of the cities of USA and they used to pray in a rented facility owned by a Jew. Every year, this Jew would increase the rent as he sees the number of worshipers increasing. One day, the Imam told his congregation that they were closing the masjid as they can’t pay the rent. A young man who used to sell Falafil outside the masjid stood up and suggested that everyone contributes to buy the building from its owner. People said that we are unable to pay the rent, how do you think we can collect such a huge amount of money. The boy took cash from his pocket and said: this is all what I had saved. I will make it seed money for buying this masjid. The Imam adopted this initiative and began to encourage the people to give. When Allah blesses something, nothing can stand in its way. Few days later, they bought the building from the Jew. The trash of the society and gossipers began talking about this young man, accusing him of showing of and doing it to get people’s praise. The young man managed to go to hajj that year and on the Day of Arafat, Allah takes his soul. He dies on the Day of Arafat, in the state of Ihram when Allah forgives all the sins of pilgrims. What a death! Never accuse people’s intentions as this is only with Allah. They say: he died while prostrating, he died while fasting or he died while he was on his way back from Umrah. People die on what they had lived on and it is not a coincidence. What do you live on and how do you anticipate your death to be like?
