There was a big search operation on over the weekend for a missing person. Apparently it is OK to run chain saw training courses when there is a missing person search active. After all we dont need everyone out searching do we? So is the SES there to train and earn certificates or is it there to get out and help the community? While I was an active member an activation would automatically suspend all training operations however now training can override operations. I would like to see whoever came up with that stroke of genius explain why there are people playing with chainsaws while their family member is missing.
