There was a bird which one day thought it was extra lucky by finding a ripe pawpaw fruit still attached to its mother plant. The bird thought all the way round and found that it had hit the obvious gratuity and therefore the fruit is not for share. It made a sketch, so that other birds do not perturb, to make a hole from the bottom of the fruit so that other birds cant realize that there is a goodie. Yeah! The pact was triumph! It made a hole and entered inside to enjoy the syrupiness all alone; other birds realized the presence of the pawpaw, but since the pawpaw was vacillating, and they did not know what could be inside, they only kept at distance making noise due to what they thought was an enemy taking away their food. They also may be thought the enemy might be interested to make them its prey. On the other side, the one which was inside was enjoying every pick of prick from the pawpaw. It ate and reached to the point where the pawpaw was attached to the mother plant without knowing but still enjoying and feeling so good as there is no any other bird that could come near the pawpaw. As the saying goes, when the deal is too good think twice, one prick made the pawpaw to detach from the mother plant, therefore falling on the ground with great bang! And since the pawpaw was ripe enough, it did not roll to open for the bird to escape instead it covered the bird and since there was no air to breath, the bird died. The rest of the birds after the falling of the pawpaw had a chance to fly away for their dear lives. Today’s youth are just like the birds that are too covetous of the goodies they find. The world we are living in is like the pawpaw which is already very mature and its signaling from far how things are good. Without listening to advices from elders, parents or friends, you just hop into world goodies mulling over yourself of how shrewd and auspicious you are. To an extent you start black milling your acquaintances on how they are not thriving and may be you are a crook, fraudulent, girls are obligated to counterfeit nuptials where they come out with HIV and fatherless babies. I meekly pray for everyone to be watchful, for the world today is like a ripe pawpaw that can plummet any time and those who will be clinging to it will be compressed by it.
