There was a bit of self-reflection on my way to Ubud yesterday. It was peaceful, humble. I dont have the stresses I had before moving here. People post their fabulous lives all over social media in hopes, I guess, to impress others. I dont care about that, either. My life here is neither wildly entertaining nor fabulously rich and interesting. I have mundane days just like anyone else and Im OK with that. Those same mundane days include activities, sights, sounds, that most of you reading this will never experience. Theres no one-upmanship going on here. I am in competition with no one. I chose this direction in life. I chose my current locale. I chased dreams and caught them. Not everyone has those opportunities. I no longer think about wants in (from) life. I focus more on my needs, which are really quite simple. I might continue these thoughts later. Right now I need to get to that loofah harvest in the garden. Photos might follow, too. You never know.
