There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham...Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;.. - Genesis 26:1-12 I know many people do not like the seed sowing principle that has been heavily abused but here is what we gather here. Even though it was a time of famine, Isaac did not stop sowing; he did not let his unfavourable situation stop him from acting on Gods principles. I think that is important. Sometimes we wanna live according to GODs word only when it suits us or when its convinient for us. However, the great news is, the Word will always produce fruit even when your outside conditions and circumstances seem to be inconvinient so always go for the word. Because the Word of GOD is a blesssing of GOD. You are blessed when you have heard and received the Word, you are even more blessed when you act upon it because it will never fail. BLESSINGS!!
